Teacher Description

Kundalini Yoga Instructor
Devi Japa first experienced Kundalini Yoga through a 5-day immersion in the practice at Sat Nam Fest – a Kundalini yoga and music festival. “I had no idea what I was walking into, no prior practice or experience, and no pre-conceived notions or expectations. On the first day, I knew I found my tribe. The practice is unique, wild, joyful, expansive, fun, elevating and simultaneously challenging, provoking, humbling, healing, and transformative. Kundalini Yoga saved my life.” Through this discipline, Devi Japa has realized the importance of spiritual community in fostering healing, awareness of self, connection with oneness, and a joyful state of ease and grace. She is passionate about sharing this sacred science with others and guiding an experience that supports the individual to find the light within themselves.

In her spare time, Devi Japa enjoys hiking, gardening, wildflower hunting, learning about herbs and wild foods, and petting bumble bees. It is not uncommon to find her in the garden pep-talking the intentional plants and apologizing to the weeds.
