Teacher Description

Juliette Mandel is a E-RYT 200 yoga instructor of Vinyasa Prana Flow who trained in her hometown, NYC, under Shiva Rea from 2008-2010. She initially came to yoga through her passion for dance, but after spending time in Nepal, and meditating in Buddha’s birthplace at the Panditarama Mahayana Meditation Center in Lumbini, her appreciation for yoga was transformed into a lifestyle, which she feel’s blessed to share with others by teaching yoga.
Vinyasa yoga focuses on the fluidity and rhythmic oscillations of prana life force, through the synchronization of the breath with movement. Her classes are never scripted. They often offer a meditation, as well as soulful songs that invite a playful, while humble presence on the mat.
She is thrilled to have joined the yoga kula at West End Yoga in Lancaster, while simultaneously juggling her intern year of Family Medicine Residency at LGH! She is also involved with pop up yoga in the community, often teaching at Tellus 360 on the roof during summer months. She hopes to complete her 500 hour training while in Lancaster to further deepen her understanding of manifesting the true self.
Ultimately, she dreams of opening or joining a Wellness Center with a focus on Integrative Medicine to share the power that is yoga within her Family Medicine practice. Most of all, Juliette cherishes each moment shared on the mat, and welcomes the opportunity to explore with the members of the community a common appreciation and gratitude for the innumerable health benefits of yoga.
