A twenty-year practitioner of yoga, Leah first stumbled upon yoga at her local YMCA soon after college. It was not long until yoga became an integral part of her life. She found the practice not only challenged her physically, but it also allowed her to experience a deeper sense of connection and compassion for herself and the world. Leah pursued her 200-hour training at West End Yoga to share this love of yoga with others. She continues to foster awareness of the importance of connection between of mind, body and spirit through her teaching.
In her classes, Leah is passionate about creating space for students of all levels to tap into their bodies, while also finding ease through breath and proper alignment. In general she teaches a vinyasa-style yoga with attention to alignment, but also teaches hatha and meditation. Off of the yoga mat, Leah holds a PhD in Religion and Society, and can be found teaching at Lancaster Theological Seminary, where she offers classes in pastoral care. Leah also enjoys hiking, the sunshine, and experimenting with creating green smoothies.
