Ayurveda for Winter – Immunity and Wellness

During the cold, dark days of winter, nature hibernates and we are invited to take rest. With the holidays behind us, this can turn from a time of cozy, inward reflection to feeling weighed down, sluggish, uninspired and stagnant. Our immune systems and sense of wellbeing can really take a hit.

Experience a cozy, warming yoga and meditation practice to balance your body and mind. After reflecting on your experiences of the season, discover how your ojas (vital essence/immunity) is created and how it relates to your agni (digestive fire). Take a quiz to learn how your digestive fire is functioning and discover practices to support it. Set your own course of action, choosing from seasonal foods, herbs, yoga, pranayama (breathing), and movement practices to enhance your seasonal wellness.

Leave with few seasonal ayurvedic recipies and gain a clear understanding as to what makes them good choices for the season.
