Amy began yoga in 2003 and quickly realized its power. Shortly after, she enrolled in her first 200 hour teacher training program in Brooklyn, NY. These studies ultimately led her to the Ashtanga tradition and to a second 200-hour teacher training program at The Shala Yoga House in NYC. Amy believes in the integrity of asana and pranayama. Her classes focus heavily on establishing a balance between a quiet space to experience body and breath and the opportunity to advance practice through challenge. She believes that yoga is meant for all bodies and levels and that all seekers deserve welcome. You will find her classes challenging, yet accessible, quiet, yet energizing. Amy also works with middle school, high school and college students as an ADD/Executive Function Coach. She lives in Lancaster City with her husband and son.
