Sarah is a 2011 graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Art degree in Crime, Law, and
Justice and a minor in Psychology. She has worked extensively in the Human Services field since
graduating and has established a home in York, PA. Sarah was first introduced to yoga in 2007 when she
took a yoga course for physical education credits in college, then again in 2014 when she was motivated
to find alleviation for pain from sports injuries. Her practice was a slow progression and she began to
realize the depth of yoga and the benefits it offered beyond the physical piece. Sarah was encouraged to
pursue yoga teacher training in 2017 and completed her first 200-hour teacher training from Sid Yoga in
March 2018. She completed additional trainings, including Trauma-Conscious yoga teacher training from
Connected Warriors and Foundations of Sequencing and Cueing from Yoga Masterminds. She is
currently participating in a 200-hour Alignment Yoga teacher training from Yoga Sanctuary School. Sarah
has a passion for learning and serving others, so yoga is the natural setting for her to do both!
Sarah currently teaches Power Vinyasa, Alignment in Motion, and Beginner’s Yoga classes.
