Yoga for Heart Health

Do you have a chronic heart condition, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or diabetes? Do you struggle with stress, anxiety, depression, or poor sleep?  If so, did you know that a therapeutic approach to yoga can help in each of these areas and, in doing so, improve your overall heart health?

In this 5-week series, we will explore various yoga practices including physical postures, breathwork, meditation, and philosophy to help improve the health of your heart and kickstart you on your path to overall health and wellness.

No prior yoga experience required. All postures will be adapted to meet your individual physical ability.

Cost is $100. $75 for members.

Rachel Nye Sammon, M.S., E-RYT, is a dedicated and passionate yoga teacher and student. She is currently pursuing an M.S. in Yoga Therapy at the Maryland University of Integrative Health. Her goal is to make yoga- based practices relatable and accessible to empower people on their journey to enhanced health and wellbeing.
